As part of Latinx Heritage Month, Iván González-Soto served as emcee and delivered a short talk at WSU Vancouver’s recent music festival celebrating Latinx cultures and communities. The event featured live cumbia music by Mango Twist, a performance by Ballet Folklórico de Southwest Washington, and food from the family-owned Buen Apetetito food truck. The event drew approximately 100 attendees from across campus and the local community.
