Marlene Gaynair attended the Comicpalooza convention in Houston over the weekend, participating in the inaugural Comicpalooza University event. Her panel on Caribbean Comics explored the inclusion of graphic novels as historical texts in the classroom, and how they can introduce Caribbean history and culture to new audiences.
