Congratulations to former WSU Dept of History MA student Alisa Wade (Harrison) who has successfully defended her dissertation, “An Alliance of Ladies: Power, Public Affairs, and Class Construction in Early National New York.” She has earned her degree in Early American and Comparative Women’s History from the Graduate Center at CUNY and is currently the Bernard and Irene Schwartz Postdoctoral Fellow in Eugene Lang College at the New School for Liberal Arts.
