Puck Brecher gave a lecture at the National Japanese History Museum in Japan. The talk was titled “Muyo no mono no yūyō-sei: Sōzōbutsu to shite no Nihon ōkami” (Uses of the useless: The Japanese wolf as allegory).

Andra Chastain published a book review of Periferia: Poblaciones y desarrollo urbano en Santiago de Chile, 1920-1940, by Simón Castillo Fernández and Waldo Vila Muga. The review appeared in Spanish in Revista Historia y Patrimonio, an urban studies journal published by the University of Chile.
