History major Alicia Callahan won the Crimson Award (1st place) in the Arts and Humanities category at SURCA. Her poster presentation, which was based on her Honors thesis, was about the combat experience and traumatic personal memories of the soldiers of the 6th Armored Division, who fought continuously for nine months in the European Theater of WW2 and liberated the Buchenwald concentration camp.
