Dr. González-Soto Delivered Invited Talk on Labor History

Iván González-Soto was invited to speak at an off-campus public event organized by several local community organizations and nonprofits. The event took place at Esther Short Park in Vancouver on May 1st—also known as May Day or International Workers’ Day, and he presented aspects of his ongoing labor history research. The event provided valuable opportunities to engage with a large public audience while sharing a broader significance of labor and immigration history. The event along with Iván’s talk appeared in The Columbian.
