Puck Brecher gave an address titled “Divergent Moral Economies of Livestock Treatment in Japan” at a symposium on Japanese animal welfare. The symposium was held at the International Research Center for Japanese Studies in Kyoto and kicked off a multi-year joint research project on the subject.
