On May 22, Robert Franklin was awarded as PI $49,401.00 by the National Park Service for a two-year project to document unknown or little-known histories of women who worked on the Manhattan Project at Hanford, locate and access relevant archival materials, conduct oral history research and interviews, and create public history and educational products to share these stories. Funding is specifically set aside in this project to hire undergraduate and graduate students to assist with this project.
