Iván González-Soto participated in a faculty panel discussion on curriculum integration titled “Teaching in the Learning Garden” at WSU Vancouver. The event took place on 11/14, and fellow panelists included Kevan Moffet and Michelle Steen-Adams. The event was hosted by WSUV’s Collective for Social and Environmental Justice, and it highlighted the new Indigenous Traditional Ecological Knowledge Learning Garden and student community garden on campus. The purpose of the event was to encourage faculty engagement with the garden, to help them promote it to their students, and to stimulate discussion to integrate the garden into their curriculum.
