Sabrina González led a workshop entitled: “Listening, Narrating, Archiving Women’s Stories Through Oral History” at the PNW Foco Meeting- National Association for Chicana Chicano Studies. Six undergraduate students from her class HIST335 “Women in Latin America” presented their research and introduced a website that aims to archive oral histories on Latinx Women in Washington. In the previous week, as part of the 2024 Chancellor’s Summer Program, Sabrina González’s mentee Shelby Jackson presented a poster on the project “HERitage: Visualizing and Archiving Women’s Oral Histories in Washington State.”
