War & Society

The minor in War and Society addresses political, social, economic, and cultural impacts of war.

  • A minor in War & Society requires 18 hours, 9 of which must be in 300-400-level courses taken in residence at WSU or through WSU-approved education abroad or educational exchange courses
  • Grade of C or better is required in all coursework for the minor

  • Hist 386 World War II in Europe
  • Hist 387 World War II in Asia and the Pacific
  • Hist 388 U.S. and Vietnam
  • Hist 390 U.S. Military History
  • Hist 391 The Great War 1914-1920
