JT Menard (MA 2019) took over the Registrar’s Office at Heritage University in December 2024. Heritage was founded in 1982 on the outskirts of Toppenish, Washington, which is located on the traditional (and current) lands of the Yakama Nation. It works closely with the Nation and enrolled Yakama’s in good academic standing can earn a bachelor’s from the university tuition free. It’s current student population is roughly 900 undergraduates & graduates.
He has been teaching World Civilization 1500-Present for Heritage since 2023 as an adjunct and will continue to do so in addition to his new duties.
