Alumni Spotlight

Annie Marggraf (BA ’16) was a contestant on the quiz show Jeopardy! on March 8, 2017. Marggraf is pictured at right with the show’s host Alex Trebek.

Jacki Hedlund Tyler (PhD ’15) has been serving a one-year position in public and U.S. history at the University of North Alabama. She has accepted a continuing position as Director of Social Studies Education in the Department of History at Eastern Washington University.

Alisa Wade (MA ’09) successfully defended her doctoral dissertation “An Alliance of Ladies: Power, Public Affairs, and Class Construction in Early National New York” in the Early American and Comparative Women’s History program at the CUNY Graduate Center. Dr. Wade is currently the Bernard and Irene Schwartz Postdoctoral Fellow in Eugene Lang College at the New School in New York City.

Amanda (Townsley) Link (PhD, ’15) has accepted a tenure-track position in Modern European history at the University of Texas at Tyler.
