College of Arts and Sciences 2017 Awards Ceremony
Associate Professor, Jesse Spohnholz won the “William F. Mullen Memorial Teaching” award.
“This award recognizes faculty in the humanities or social sciences to demonstrate outstanding commitment to teaching and undergraduate education. It honors the legacy of Dr. William Frank Mullen, a professor of political science at Washington State University from 1968 to 1986 remembered for his academic and professional accomplishments in the field of political science, and especially as an exceptional educator.”
Department of History Office Manager and Secretary Senior, Pamela Guptill, wins “Civil Service Outstanding Career Achievement Award” for 2016-2017.
Pam was nominated by Dr. Marina Tolmacheva. Letters of support from the department graduate students and faculty were received by the CAS award committee. Pam was chosen out of 89 other applicants.
“This Award recognizes and honors civil service staff members who have a long-standing history of distinction in their performance of duties, a commitment to teamwork, and inspire excellence in others.”
